Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2: HCM City – Cu Chi Tunnels & City Sightseeing

Morning
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a fascinating journey to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, which are located approximately 1.5 to 2 hours driver from Ho Chi Minh City (75km).

Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network which span over 200km used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Cu Chi tunnels were functioning underground cities that included trap doors, living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. You can even crawl through some of the tunnels if you’re up for it. Learn about the history and tactics used by the Viet Cong through informative exhibits and demonstrations.

Try some of the simple cuisine that local fighters survived on with a cassava tasting. After experiencing the Cu Chi Tunnels, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city with lunch en route at Ben Nay restaurant.

Afternoon
Spend the rest of the day visiting some of Ho Chi Minh City’s key highlights. We’ll tailor your tour to suit you, but we particularly recommend visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral, the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville), the old Opera House, the historic Rex Hotel, the Central Post Office, renowned for its architecture, and Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste.

Later stop at the Reunification Palace and the moving War Remnants Museum to for an insightful, yet sombre, look into Vietnam’s military history and turbulent past.

Day 3: HCM City – Ben Tre (Mekong Delta)

8:00 Pick up in the hotel lobby and transfer to Mekong Delta.
Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.
On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, and view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank.
Have lunch in an orchard garden.
Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by locals.
Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.

Day 4: HCM City – Flight to Tuy Hoa – Whale Island

Morning:
Following breakfast and check-out, your dedicated driver will collect you from your hotel and escort you to the airport for a brief flight to Tuy Hoa, a charming coastal city located on Vietnam's South Central Coast.

Upon your arrival at Tuy Hoa Airport, your private driver will be there to greet you. You'll then be transported to the tranquil tropical haven of Whale Island, which graces the beautiful sandy shores of Van Phong Bay.

After approximately 1.5 hours on the road, you'll reach the jetty. From there, a 20-minute boat transfer will take you to Whale Island Resort for your check-in.

Nestled amidst swaying coconut palms and a pristine sandy beach, Whale Island Resort is a paradisiacal tropical retreat. The resort offers various accommodation options, including individual bungalows, doubles, family units, and connecting bungalows. Whether you choose a beachside bungalow with a unique landscape view or opt for the serene tropical garden, each bungalow boasts its own shower room, fans, and beds equipped with mosquito nets.

Afternoon:

Day 5: Whale Island

The entire day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You and your family have the option to participate in a snorkeling excursion. Each morning, a snorkeling boat departs from the resort, weather permitting, to explore a nearby coral reef adjacent to Whale Island. This trip includes lunch and offers a visit to a local fishing village as well as a Whale temple.

Another day to indulge in relaxation by the beach is at your disposal. For those seeking a more active experience, you can easily rent snorkel gear, kayaks, canoes, or a catamaran from the beach hut. If desired, our water sports staff is available to offer guidance on equipment usage or accompany you on an exploration around the island.

Day 7: Whale Island – Tuy Hoa – Flight to Da Nang/ Hoi An

Morning:
Following breakfast, you will be picked up and driven back to Tuy Hoa Airport for your flight to Da Nang, situated in the central region of Vietnam.

Afternoon:
Upon your arrival at Da Nang airport, your driver will be there to greet you and transport you to your hotel in Hoi An for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Hoi An, a UNESCO-recognized town, thrived as an international commercial port from the 16th to the 18th century. This rich history is reflected in the town's architecture, showcasing influences from France, China, and Japan. The diverse cultural heritage of Hoi An has also contributed to its reputation for some of the country's most intriguing and delectable cuisine.

Day 8: Hoi An – Walking & Food Tour

Morning: Enjoy a leisurely morning with a late breakfast and the comfort of your hotel.
Afternoon: Your tour guide will pick you up for an exploration of Hoi An's Ancient Town. This walking tour will lead you to key attractions including Chua Ong Pagoda, Tan Ky Ancient House, Fujian Assembly Hall, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge.
Next, you'll visit the Precious Heritage Museum, home to Réhahn's Precious Heritage Collection, a permanent exhibition that offers insight into the diverse cultural tapestry of Vietnam's ethnic tribes as it takes you on a journey to the country's farthest corners.
Continue to the home of a lantern craftsman, where you can observe the craftsman's techniques before participating in a hands-on lantern-making experience under the guidance of enthusiastic craftsmen. By the end of this session, you'll have created your very own lantern.

To cap off the day, embark on a Hoi An street food discovery tour. With your guide, navigate the narrow alleyways and sample local delicacies at stalls you might never discover on your own. Every day at 4 pm, Hoi An's streets come alive with a vibrant array of street food carts, stalls, and vendors. This tour provides a delightful introduction to Hoi An's specialties, introduces you to the friendly faces behind the dishes, and offers insights into how the locals use condiments.

8h30 Joined a group tour in Hoi An start cycling to Coconut Forest
09h00 On the way you will make stops at the Ba Le local market, rice fields, cemetery, school...
10h00 Upon reaching the village you are welcome by a family on the edge of the river. Anglers will then take you in basket boats to learn their traditional fishing techniques within the water coconut forest trees.
11h00 Continuation of Cycling through rice fields on peaceful paths, well away from the tourist trails, you will arrive at vegetable village
11:30 You will be warmly greeted by Mr.Minh family, a welcome drink "basil juice", stroll through the village and meet local people who work in the garden.
12h30 The local farmer will teach you all about cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetable from the insects as well as join the farmers in preparing gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting and tending greens.
13:30 Then You will cook, learn how to make “Tam Huu” spring roll, “Xeo” pancake. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including “Tam Huu” spring roll, “Banh Xeo” or local pancake of people in Centre of Viet Nam.
14h30 After lunch enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice and Prepare lunch with a local family,
15h30 Take a bit rest before returning to your hotel. End tour.

Day 10: Hoi An – Day train to Hue

Morning: After a satisfying breakfast, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and accompany you to Da Nang Railway station to catch the day train. You'll travel in comfort with soft seats and air conditioning on this 3-hour journey. The train route offers picturesque countryside views, takes you up and over the stunning Hai Van Pass (Sea Cloudy Pass), and then follows the coastline, affording breathtaking vistas.
Throughout the ride, you'll have the opportunity to interact with friendly locals onboard, forging new friendships along the way.
Upon arrival at the Hue Train Station, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take some well-deserved rest after your journey.
Afternoon:
Afternoon: Meet your private guide and set out to explore the ancient and evocative Walled Citadel, an expansive complex constructed in the early 19th century. It houses the former Imperial Palace and the Forbidden Purple City. While much of the original structures were damaged during the Vietnam-American War, the surviving monuments provide a captivating glimpse into the court life of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam's final feudal dynasty. The Citadel was once surrounded by 10 km of walls, with a broad moat encompassing them.
Conclude your day at Dong Ba Market, situated along the north bank of the Huong (Perfume) River. Here, you'll have the opportunity to sample the renowned Bun Bo Hue, Hue's signature noodle soup, at a favorite noodle shop endorsed by Anthony Bourdain, the world-famous chef and TV producer.
In the evening, return to your hotel, where you can spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 11: Hue – Half-day City Tour – Flight to Hanoi

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, embark on a delightful boat trip along the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, which is the oldest and most revered site in Hue. Admire the stunning views of the river and the lush surroundings, and learn about the rich history and cultural significance of the pagoda from your knowledgeable guide. Next, you will visit the mausoleums of Emperor Khai Dinh and Tu Duc, two of the most iconic and historic landmarks in Hue.

Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine and immerse yourself in the local dining culture.

Later, transfer to Hue Airport to board a short flight to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. On arrival, you will be met by your private guide and driver and take you to your hotel in the Old Quarter to check-in. Spend the remainder of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, you will be greeted by your guide and driver at your hotel lobby for some safety briefing then begin your adventure!

On the first part of your Hanoi Jeep tour, you will discover the REAL HANOI with a day in the life experiences, featured with the parts-unknown of the city with slices of life in the maze of backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets, experiencing where & how locals live, work and play.

On the second part you will pass by & stop at the MUST-SEEE places of this beautiful city such as Ho Chi Minh mausoleum-the Mecca of Vietnamese, The 1000-year-old Buddhist and Toasist temples of Tran Quoc, the temple of Literature, the historic train-street, the enchanting French Quarter, the hustling & bustling Old Quarter, West Lake, Hanoi Opera House & famous Long Bien Bridge...etc.

On the third part, you are taken to the peaceful & allure out-skirt villages around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake to enrich your experiences about the contrast in the harmony of life between the city center and her out-skirt as well as you would experience a hidden tranquil of Hanoi, a hectic of Hanoi with thousands of Skyscrapers in the new parts of the city. It is not only a ride but also a journey that you would learn about Hanoi before, now and then.

On the last part, you will stop at different AUTHENTIC restaurants, eateries and food stalls to savor the tastiest of the tasty dishes of Hanoi including family heirloom & secret recipe dishes, local delicacies and specialties.

The tour will finish at the hotel after midday. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore this beautiful city as you wish. You could even visit a traditional water puppet show – a real spectacle where, as the name suggests, with the aid of fireworks and music, folk stories are played out by skillful puppeteers.

Day 13: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave Full Day Tour

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your designated car driver and tour guide will be ready to pick you up at 8:00 am for your journey to Ninh Binh Province. The drive from Hanoi to Ninh Binh takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Around 10:30 am, you will reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the historic site of a 10th-century Vietnamese Kingdom during the Dinh and Le dynasties. During your visit here, you'll explore two temples: the Dinh Tien Hoang Temple (Dinh King’s temple) and the Le Hoan Temple (Le King’s Temple).

Noon brings a delightful break for a mouthwatering Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, at approximately 2:00 pm, your tour continues to Tam Coc. Here, you'll embark on a scenic boat trip along the Ngo Dong River, taking in the breathtaking vistas of karst hills, lush rice fields, and serene villages. You'll pass through the enchanting "Hang Ca," "Hang Hai," and "Hang Ba" formations.

Around 4:00 pm, you'll visit Mua Cave, often referred to as the miniature Great Wall of Vietnam. For those feeling adventurous, you can test your mettle by climbing the 500 stone steps of Mua Cave to enjoy a mesmerizing panoramic view of the countryside, rice fields, and the meandering Ngo Dong River.

At approximately 5:30 pm, you'll return to Hanoi by car, where you can relax during the journey back.

Day 14: Hanoi - Halong Bay with overnight on cruise

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our private mini-van/bus will pick you up between 8:30 am to 9:00 am to begin your journey to Halong City. During the 3.5-hour drive, you will have the opportunity to view the simple countryside and rice paddy life along the way. Once you arrive at the port, you will board your private boat - an authentic Chinese Junk - and begin your amazing cruise through the stunning Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site. Lunch will be served on board and will consist of a selection of the freshest seafood.

During the cruise, we will visit "the Amazing cave" and then take a swim in the tranquil emerald waters of Halong Bay. We will then cruise further into a quiet area where we will anchor and spend the night. You will enjoy dinner and relax as the sun sets over the bay. Afterward, you are free to swim in the phosphorescent water, retire to your cabin, or even fall asleep under the stars on the top deck, surrounded by the magic of Halong. You will spend the night on the boat, taking in the stunning surroundings of the bay.

Day 15: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

Wake up early in the morning to witness a beautiful sunrise and breathe in the fresh ocean air. Enjoy breakfast served on the boat as we leisurely cruise through thousands of stunning and seemingly never-ending islands. This is an amazing opportunity to capture some breathtaking photographs of the scenery. We will also make a stop to visit a floating fishing village and hear legendary stories of the fishermen's daily life.

Lunch will be served on the boat as we cruise back to the Halong City pier. From there, we will return to Hanoi. You will arrive in Hanoi around 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm, check in hotel & enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure, spend time to buy souvenirs.
