Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival

Morning

Upon arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Then, you will embark on a city tour to explore the charms of Luang Prabang.

Begin your journey at the impressive Wat Xiengthong, a great symbol of the history, religion, culture, and tourism of Laos. This temple was built in traditional Lao architectural style from the 16th century. Many intricate patterns are carved on the walls and there are many Buddha worship walls.

If time permits, take a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets of the city center to experience the local way of life. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the ancient Huean Chan House, a 100-year-old Chantal wooden house.

Continue your morning adventure by exploring the Royal Palace Museum, a historical site dating back to 1904, built during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family.

Afternoon

As the day progresses, head towards the summit of Mount Phousi to visit the revered gilded stupa. At this elevated location, take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Luang Prabang and the picturesque Mekong River during the serene sunset hours.

Day 2: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves

Morning

Start your day by waking up early to participate in the daily morning almsgiving, a sacred tradition in Laos that dates back to the 14th century. Witness the serene procession of Buddhist monks collecting alms along the streets.

Following this spiritual experience, head to the domestic market near the former Royal Palace. Here, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the market, where locals gather to buy and sell fresh produce and traditional goods.

Afternoon

Begin your afternoon with a visit to Wat Sen, the city's oldest Buddhist temple, where you can explore its rich historical and architectural heritage. Then, you have a chance to take a picturesque cruise upstream on the Mekong River, offering breathtaking views of the serene countryside.

Continue your adventure to the awe-inspiring Pak Ou Caves, a 16th-century cave monastery adorned with thousands of Buddha images. Marvel at the religious artifacts within this unique and spiritually charged site.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kuangsi Waterfall - Vientiane

Morning

Begin your day with a drive to Kuang Si Waterfall - Luang Prabang's largest waterfall, where nature showcases its breathtaking beauty. Visitors have the opportunity to witness the cascading water and enjoy the serene surroundings.
The adventure continues with a visit to the Bear Rescue Center, where a variety of animals have found refuge from poachers and traffickers.

If the visit aligns with the opening schedule (closed from April 15th to June 30th; 1st to 14th September and January 1st every year), a delightful stop is made at the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park. This enchanting location adds a touch of nature's wonders, allowing travelers to immerse themselves in the captivating world of butterflies.

Continue on the journey to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, where skilled weavers, spinners, and batik makers demonstrate their craftsmanship in producing top-quality fabrics.

Afternoon

You will be transferred from Luang Prabang to Vientiane by train. Upon arrival in Vientiane, visitors proceed to the hotel for check-in.

Day 4: Vientiane - Buddha Park

In the morning, our exploration begins by moving to Wat Si Muang, the most popular site of worship in Vientiane. Following this, we venture to Buddha Park, where we can discover an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures.

Afternoon

We continue our adventure with Wat Sisaket Temple, known for its unique architecture and historical significance. At the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, we explore cultural treasures that offer a glimpse into the city's rich past.

Our next stop is the That Luang Stupa, an iconic symbol of Laos, bearing witness to its religious and historical importance. We then visit the imposing Patuxay Monument, renowned as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe, where architectural grandeur meets historical significance

We conclude the afternoon by taking in the breathtaking sunset views over the Mekong River, creating a wonderful and serene atmosphere as the day draws to a close. Stay overnight in Vientiane.

Day 5: Vientiane - Hanoi Flight

After breakfast, we will proceed with our journey by transferring to Hanoi via a convenient flight.

Upon arriving in Hanoi during the afternoon, at 14:00, we will check in at our hotel in Hanoi. Subsequently, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy leisure time, allowing for exploration and discovery of the vibrant city of Hanoi at your own pace.

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Morning

Our journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel, and we embark on a 2.5-hour drive to the stunning Halong Bay. Upon arrival, we transition into the next phase of our adventure by boarding a cruise for check-in.

As we set sail, a delightful seafood lunch awaits, providing a taste of the local flavors between the picturesque surroundings of Halong Bay.

Afternoon

Moving into the afternoon, our cruise takes us to a well-known attraction of Halong Bay or a visit to a floating village. The destination promises awe-inspiring natural wonders and a glimpse into the local way of life.
For those seeking a bit more adventure, optional kayaking or a refreshing swim (weather permitting) in the bay are available. Meanwhile, on the sun deck, you can participate in a Vietnamese fresh spring roll demonstration, adding a cultural touch to your experience.

After a buffet dinner on the cruise, you have a chance to enjoy an enchanting movie show on the sun deck, creating a perfect end to a day of exploration and relaxation in the beautiful Halong Bay.

Day 8: Hanoi City Tour - Da Nang - Hoi An

Morning

After breakfast, travelers will go explore the Temple of Literature, a historical gem that served as the first university of Vietnam. Moving on to the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, an architectural marvel surrounded by a tranquil garden. Marvel at its unique design and delve into the history of this Buddhist temple.
Next, visitors have the chance to visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh. Pay your respects in this hallowed space and gain a profound understanding of its historical significance. Nearby to the mausoleum, explore Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts, providing a glimpse into the meaningful life of Vietnam's beloved leader.

Continuing our exploration, we move to the poetic West Lake to visit the Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, a structure with roots dating back to the sixth century.

Afternoon

Following the Vietnamese traditional restaurant lunch, drive to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, our tour guide will meet us at the Da Nang Airport and transfer us to the hotel in Hoi An Center.

With the remainder of the day at your disposal, take the opportunity to explore the charming town of Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An Ancient Town - Road Transfer to Hue

Morning

Let's start the day with a relaxed stroll through the old streets of Hoi An. We'll check out some old houses and visit landmarks like the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Fujian Assembly Hall, which tell us stories about Hoi An's rich history.
After that, visitors have the opportunity to explore some handicraft stores where they make unique souvenirs.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, we will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and take you to Hue on a shuttle bus. Once we arrive, you can check in at the hotel and have the rest of the day to relax or explore on your own.

Day 10: Hue - Ho Chi Minh City

Morning

After breakfast, embark on a delightful boat trip on the Perfume River. Take in the scenic views as you peacefully glide along the water. Our first destination is the Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as the Heavenly Lady Pagoda. This ancient architectural gem holds religious significance and is one of the oldest structures dedicated to worship.

Following our visit to the pagoda, we will move to the impressive Imperial Citadel to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site, which holds a wealth of historical grandeur, providing insight into the rich history of Hue.
Next, pay a visit to Dong Ba Market, the main source of food for the city of Hue. Here, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant market atmosphere and explore the diverse array of local products and cuisine.

Afternoon

Moving into the afternoon, take a flight from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will check in at your hotel. With the evening free, you'll have the opportunity to explore the bustling city at your own pace.

Day 11: Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Morning

Following breakfast, we'll head to the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about their significance during the Vietnam War. Afterward, have a light lunch on our way back to Ho Chi Minh City center.
Afternoon

In the afternoon, our exploration takes us to the Saigon Opera House, an iconic architectural gem that stands as a testament to the city's cultural richness. Next, we arrive at the Notre Dame Cathedral, a symbol of the city's enduring history. The cathedral's neo-Romanesque architecture and iconic twin spires make it a captivating site.

NOTE: The Notre Dame Cathedral is under renovation until 2027.

Our next stop is the Old Post Office, a majestic colonial-era building that reflects the city's past. With its grand architecture and historical relevance, the Old Post Office provides a glimpse into the bygone era of French influence in Vietnam.

After that, head to the renowned Ben Thanh Market. This bustling market is an ideal spot to pick up souvenirs for your loved ones, providing a lively atmosphere and a variety of local products to choose from.
