Day 1 Welcome to Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, your driver will meet and greet you before transferring you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a restful afternoon to recover from your journey. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture blending Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Train to Sapa

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up for a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Explore the historic temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties, which provide a fascinating glimpse into the nation’s past. Next, you’ll travel to Tam Coc for a leisurely boat ride through the striking limestone karsts and caves, often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.” After the boat ride, enjoy a bike ride through picturesque rice fields and rural villages before returning to Hanoi. In the evening, you'll transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Sapa.

Day 3 Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van

Arrive in Sapa early and transfer to your hotel. If rooms are available, check in; otherwise, use a basic room to freshen up. Begin your trek to the villages of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, inhabited by the Black H'mong minority. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local family’s home. Afterward, continue to Ta Van village, home to the Dzay ethnic group, where you will stay overnight in a homestay. This experience offers a unique opportunity to learn about local life, customs, and traditions.

Day 4 Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa - Night Train to Hanoi

After breakfast at the homestay, embark on an 8 km trek to the villages of Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan, where you’ll encounter the Red Dao and H'mong people. Visit a picturesque waterfall and a bamboo bridge before heading back to Sapa by jeep. The afternoon is free for exploration in Sapa before taking the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5 Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on Cruise

After arriving in Hanoi by train, enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to Halong Bay. On the way, take in the beautiful views of the Red River Delta with lush rice paddies. Upon arrival at Halong Bay, embark on a traditional wooden junk and cruise among the 3,000 limestone islands that make the bay so famous. Kayak in crystal-clear waters, explore caves, and enjoy a seafood feast on board. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 6 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Fly to Hoi An

Rise early for a Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the mist lifts over the bay. After breakfast, explore a stunning cave full of stalactites and stalagmites before returning to the harbor. Travel back to Hanoi, where you'll have some free time. Later, fly to Hoi An, a UNESCO-listed town famous for its ancient buildings and colorful lanterns.

Day 7 Hoi An Eco Tour

After breakfast, embark on a cycling adventure through the countryside of Hoi An. Experience local life as you ride past rice fields and rivers. Board a traditional boat for a river cruise and try your hand at fishing with local fishermen. Next, enjoy a unique experience in a bamboo basket boat, floating through the lush coconut palm forests. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch before returning to your hotel.

Day 8 Hoi An Leisure

Today is a free day to relax or explore more of Hoi An. You can visit the ancient town, shop for handicrafts, or enjoy some leisure time at the beach.

Day 9 Travel from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 10 Cu Chi Tunnels Tour

Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Learn about the resilience and ingenuity of the people who lived and fought here. You can even try firing an AK47 or MK16 at the shooting range. Afterward, return to Ho Chi Minh City and relax.

Day 11 Mekong Delta Tour

Today, travel to My Tho in the Mekong Delta region. Embark on a sampan boat cruise through the delta's serene waterways, passing through lush islands like Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Visit Unicorn Island and explore its orchards, tasting local tropical fruits and enjoying traditional folk music. Continue on a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son Canal and stop by a honey farm and coconut candy workshop. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12 Ho Chi Minh City Departure

Enjoy your last breakfast in Vietnam before your driver transfers you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure. This marks the end of your memorable journey through Vietnam.
