After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the iconic Wat Traimit, home to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha, and the historical Wat Pho, known for its reclining Buddha statue and its status as the first Thai university. Today is free for you to explore Bangkok on your own or enjoy optional tours. Consider a day trip to Kanchanaburi, where you can visit the war cemetery, ride the Death Railway, and explore the River Kwai museum.

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Bangkok before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, a driver will escort you to your hotel for check-in.

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a full-day tour to Chiang Rai province. Visit Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand, before heading to the Golden Triangle. Here, take a boat ride along the Mekong River and visit the Opium Museum. Continue to a hill tribe village to learn about the Aka, Yao, and Long Neck Karen people. Finish the day with a visit to the stunning Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Return to Chiang Mai in the evening.
